Creating a KH Primitive

First, be sure to have installed the "KH_Atmos.dll" file in the plugins directory.

Then select the "KH Primitive" item in the plugins menu.

Position and set the size as for any other primitive. The initial shape is a sphere.

Now, open the primitive editor by clicking on the question mark hotbutton.

Beside the standard Name and Material parameters, the primitive editor contains one primitive type selector, four dimensional and one Mountain Height parameters.
The mountain height parameter behaves likes its planet equivalent: It controls the terrain height above or under the base level.

The Primitive Type selector enables to choose the various supported primitives.

The four dimensional parameters changes according to the primitive type selected. Due to a bug in the object editor, the parameter names are not updated dynamically. You should close the editor and reopen it to see the new parameters after a type change.

The sphere has a single radius parameter.

Boxes use three parameters, for the Length, Width and the Height.

It is possible to have a hole into the cylinder. To avoid it, just set the inner Radius to 0.0.

A cone primitive may have a base cap or not.

The torus is my prefered. I'm obsessed by toroïdal worlds.

Pyramids may have up to 100 sides.

Rectangles don't have height.

The circle primitive is in fact a disk.
