This page presents the BeOS applications released at this time by Silicon-Peace. Others are still in developpement in the dark secrecy of our laboratories.
One of main weakness of BeOS is its lack of a built-in localization system. SpLocale is an attempt to overcome that deficiency.
Although not the first attempt, it is probably the most achieved until now. SpLocale offers a tool to manage the languages preference list and a simple but wery powerful localization editor. Moreover, adapting an existing application to SpLocale is just a matter of hours, if not only minutes, depending of the complexity of the application.
SpLocale is chameleonware. Its licence policy depends of the licence policy of the application who use it: Freeware for freeware programs, shareware for shareware programs and per copy fee for use in commercial products.

SpCalculator is a simple desktop calculator that works with decimal, hexadecimal or binary numbers. Hexadecimal and binary mode provide bitwise boolean operations. A RPN (Reverse Polish Notation) mode is also available.
SpCalculator exists in two version: One (SpCalculator 1.6) that is fully localizable thanks to SpLocale. The other (SpCalculator 1.4) that runs without the SpLocale package is available only in the English language. Next releases will only be available with localization support.
SpCalculator is freeware.
